Salut! We’re definitely in need of a lil’ catch-up sesh… so here’s what I’ve been up to with some news and recent releases of projects.

DJllAVWXUAooqmE

Firstly, I hope you are all well, and have been enjoying this whirlwind of a year. Let me know in the comments how you’ve been!

For me, my daily grind of the second semester consisted of study, practise, perform, produce, compose, repeat. However, hard work does pay off and I am so thrilled for the holiday break and travel adventures, especially the festive season! #christmassongs #LASTCHRISTMAS

Btw, I freshly updated my YouTube channel and created my Facebook page, so feel free to follow/like/subscribe to me there.

The first of my new projects and tracks is entitled ‘Experiment‘. This explores the ethereal nature of sounds, by experimenting with field recordings from a contact mic and a synth patch. I am looking forward to testing cool recording techniques in future tracks.

Next, in my Sonic Arts Music major, I was able to dive into the world of producing for 360 Virtual Reality media. This involved filming videos with a 360 camera (including out of a car sunroof!), as well as editing, mixing and composing for ambisonic 4-channel, spatial audio. This was a very foreign yet stimulating process, and pushed me to produce and shape my music in a more innovative way. Moreover, I loved spending hours in the recording and mixing studios.

Specifically, my project ‘North-West‘ is an audio-visual sonic experience of driving from the Sydney Harbour Bridge to the Anzac Bridge at dusk. A single moving 360° shot is accompanied by a composition of ambisonic sounds to create a multi-sensory journey, traveling between two bridges. I particularly aimed to achieve a synergetic experience for the spectator in which the spatial audio and virtual image simultaneously generate an interactive journey.

I have shared the audio track on SoundCloud, and the full 360 experience video on YouTube (watch in Google Cardboard on your smartphone device or Google Chrome in HD) so please subscribe and enjoy!

Last but not least is the incredible String instrument addition of my very own Electric Violin (heart eyes).

Thus, expect some experimental sound recordings and possibly videos coming out soon! Any Electric instrument tips would be appreciated 🙂

I wish you a Happy Holidays and joyful New Year with even more opportunities!

‘Til 2018, ciao xx #sydneyandstreet

Salut! How are you? I apologise it’s been so long since I last posted, but I return with a much-needed update. Although it’s already halfway through 2017, this year has been a fresh yet motivating start to my personal and creative musical endeavours.

Firstly, I hope you enjoy the new look of the website which I recently re-designed and organised to showcase my Music and artistic perspective as a producer/composer and record label. You can even listen to my tracks whilst you’re browsing! [PRESS PLAY NOW ♡] I’m pretty proud of the result 🙂

From the end of last year, my focus has been centred on planning, manifesting, and attracting my goals and visions. Above all, in addition to Uni and online audio production courses, I have continued to learn, create, experiment and explore sound in recent projects. I am also thankful for all the skills and sources of inspiration that I have gained from my studies this year.

In particular, my new composition ‘Sunday‘ features a special collaboration with my brother on electric Guitar. With limited recording production, a chilled groove, and ambient vibes, this track was inspired by easy Sundays. ‘Sunday’ also includes experimentation of many pre- and post-production and recording techniques. Have a listen here + below! ↡

I have also been busy performing on the Violin in orchestras and ensembles for events around Sydney, and on live television including The Voice Australia 2017. Of course, I have had a blast learning, creating, and collaborating with many talented artists and directors. I will always love to share my passion with others, and I am forever grateful for incredible opportunities.

Regarding dreams and goals, I have consistently reflected on gratitude and my desired manifestations. I strongly suggest a regular process for this, especially on the night of each full moon, as the spiritual power of the Law of Attraction is magical. Meditation and Yoga have been additionally formidable tools to practise inner peace and attract success. Particularly as a creative person, it is paramount that you put yourself and your art first, and always BELIEVE.

So here I am, in the groove, inspired and motivated as ever. I hope you are focused to work hard and make your dreams reality, everyday. Stay tuned for upcoming projects!

Believe in yourself, you can do it xx #sydneyandstreet

These photographs reflect a beautiful holiday in paradise. I can definitely say that Noosa feels like my home away from home in Australia. There is so much to love about Noosa and its surrounding areas in the Sunshine Coast. The lifestyle, the people, the weather, the beaches, the nature, the food, the style, the vibes. I would love others to adore this place as much as I do, thus I have compiled my favourite places and activities for anyone to explore.

Hello there and hello 2016! 2015 was a wonderful year for me; commencing my first year of university (so exciting!) which entailed making new friendships and memories, embracing change and lots of great opportunities.

Without getting too contemplative, here is an outfit post of a look I wore recently. Although we are in the Summer season, this outfit elucidates my attire for more cooler, rainy days. Of course, the colder weather calls for an essential turtle neck, skinny jeans and denim jacket. Channelling Warhol’s minimalist uniform and artistic philosophy – as detailed in his autobiography – this simple, yet classic and edgy monochrome ensemble is so easy to style. If you’re feeling a bit sporty, add some comfortable sneakers and mirror shades, and you’re good to go! I’m lucky enough to be featured on the Asos street style #AsSeenOnMe edit on their website (my favourite online store), so you can check out my look here + here for more inspiration!

Even though my Summer holidays have been tranquil and filled blue skies and lazy days at the beach, I must admit that I’m anticipating my new #ootd creations for uni days this year. And I’ll definitely have this campus-look on hand. Here’s to another incredible year with even more opportunities! Stay tuned for upcoming posts.

Ciao + bonne chance/Happy 2016 xx

One of the highlights of this incredible year, would have to be my trip to Uluru, Northern Territory in Spring. The magical landscape and culture of the Red Centre were inspirational. Imagine this: dry, barren, humid thick air, bright sun rays, and orange-coloured desert sand – not to mention the sparse foliage, gigantic rock formations, and Dreamtime myths.

Refined activities of bush-walking through national parks, sunset tours, camel riding, star-gazing, cultural activities, and sunset dining, generated beautiful memories shared with my loved ones, that I will never forget.

Undoubtedly, this is a spiritual travel destination; a sacred site to be protected, conserved, respected, and appreciated by all.

This ethereal place encapsulates the Australian identity: a deep affiliation to the land, nature, the past, and to each other.

Here is some chilled-out music in my Soundcloud playlist to inspire you to be wanderlust and to travel to the magical locations you desire to explore. Ciao!

Salut! I know it’s been an exceedingly long time since I last posted, however, despite this disappointing inconsistency, a lot has happened recently. Most significantly, I commenced my studies at university in March. This major leap into tertiary education signified a clear shift but it has proved to be a very positive experience so far. New faces, new friends, new places, new tutors/lecturers, new classes, and a new routine.

Studying one’s passions more directly at university is invigorating and intellectually stimulating, especially whilst being surrounded by like-minded creative people. Meeting a diverse range of people is also amazing. I have never received so many compliments and greetings which always brighten my day.

I frequently get asked about my outfits which is very special for me considering my passion for fashion. I also enjoy the range of fashion styles at university. I have been meaning to share this post for what seems like an eternity, so here it finally is. I present to you my Uniform: consisting of affordable, stylish, chic, casual and comfortable versatile staples. I usually dress according to the weather, comfort, and personal choice. Jeans, pants or trousers are particularly easy to wear for travel and racing to classes. I also realised layering with blouses, coats and jackets is beneficial for changing temperatures and unpredictable Sydney weather. Simple make-up is essential with a thin cat-winged eyeliner and bold lipstick to enhance your features. Minimal jewellery accessories include studs or hooped earrings, paired with some gold rings. As for my hair, I opt for simple, no-fuss hairstyles which can slightly tame my frizz during high humidity levels. Recently I’ve been styling a half-up top-knot which looks a bit boho and casual whilst conveniently gathering some of my thick locks into a bun away from my shoulders and face. My favourite tutorials for this hairstyle and others can be found here, here, here, here, and here. Lastly, a light and sweet scent completes the outfit.

I hope I have inspired you to rock your own personal, street-style Uniform. Remember to keep it real and true to yourself. Back to the books!!

Have a listen to my new routine Spotify playlist which I have on repeat. Don’t forget to share it around. Bisous.
